It is of great importance of the intact detection for the developing of coal conveyor belt, which is related to the personal security. In order to avoid loss of personal security by the destroyed coal conveyor belt, it is quite necessary for the real-time detection of coal conveyor belt.Ultrasonic testing as an advanced nondestructive testing method, it can make use of the influence of ultrasonic transmission which by the internal defects of the conveyor belt,Ultrasonic testing as an advanced nondestructive testing method,it can take advantage of The influence of ultrasonic transmission which caused by the internal defects of conveyor belt to detect the conveyor belt in real time. According to the ultrasonic pulse penetration method to design a nondestructive detection system of conveyor belt in the coal mine with the FPGA as the core and two wheel 100 KHz ultrasonic transducer.In this thesis, the current situation of the detection system of conveyor belt in the domestic and foreign was introduced firstly,expounding the basic theory and methods of the ultrasonic nondestructive examination,determining the paper the research content and direction at the need of coal mine conveyor belt nondestructive detection. According to the overall design, Describing the system hardware design and software design in detail, and the denoising of wavelet transform were studied and analyzed in the ultrasonic signal applications. The design of hardware circuit mainly includes the module of ultrasonic transceiver, FPGA controller, the USB communication module. The design of Software uses LabVIEW and MATLAB the mixed programming of Lab VIEW and MATLAB. Through wavelet transform to analyze the echo waveform and realize the real-time data acquisition and display of ultrasonic wave successfully.The device can accurately detect the conveyor belt damage when the conveyor is running.
