With the rapid development of modern manufacturing industry,deep hole processing technology is more and more widely applied in machine work. It’s highly necessary for checking the deep hole processing condition by on-line monitoring method because the semi-closed machining state makes it’s so hard for operators to get the machining information more quickly and accurately. It’s very important to make a research of the on-line monitoring method for the system of cutting fluid because the state of cutting fluid could provide some information that the machining works normally or not, the cutting fluid played a significant part in deep hole processing such as lubrication,refrigeration and chip removal.An on-line monitoring method has been established based on checking the oil pressure of the cutting fluid and the temperature with the help of fluid mechanics after we have made some study on the characteristic of cutting fluid and the deep hole processing system. In this paper, the flow field of cutting fluid under the different conditions such as different deep hole and different state of blocking has been studied with the draw support from CFD. All the numerous simulations have been made by different model and mesh method include the system works and blocked by chips. The mathematical model has been made that be used to describe the relationship of cutting parameters and the flow field by the result of the numerical simulation. The parameters of mathematical model have been estimated and the function relationship between the inlet pressure and the spindle speed, drilling depth and the condition of chips has been found. A fault indicator of the deep hole drilling system has been designed that be used to forecast the blocking condition by the processing parameters and the monitoring data, besides, the specific method of how to monitor and control the indicator has been provided. A development platform can be established with the hardware we selected after the analysis of the on-line monitoring system of cutting fluid has been made, after that, a monitoring system of cutting fluid in deep hole processing could be estimated based on the feature of the development platform. We have made some research on the technology of on-line monitoring method for the system of cutting fluid in deep hole processing and our research is very useful both on the theory and practice. All the jobs could provide a certain reference value to the study of on-line monitoring method in the future.
