As a basic ‘cutthroat’ processing technology, the deep hole processing processing technology is closed and unobservable. With the rapid rise of China’s industry, deep-hole industry is demand increasingly and applied to many machine manufacturing industry. The deep-hole processing parameters is restricted by multiple factors, once their selection not reasonable will increase wear of the cutting tool, related auxiliary equipment as well as the deep hole machine tool.How to choose cutting parameters reasonably and scientifically is an extremely important project with great practical significance in the field of deep-hole processing.Artificial intelligence, database technology and expert system technology was combined with the deep-hole processing technology in this paper for the design of deep-hole drilling cutting parameters to transform the knowledge and experience of the deep-hole field into the data of the practice production. A communication platform was established to make existing specialist professional advantage applied to practical production, and to verify the theory with the actual production,so as to meet constantly rising requirements of the complexity and quality of the product and make its economic efficiency enhance unceasingly.First of all, according to the structure, function and the design requirements of the expert system, the system overall design was completed through analyzing the demand of the deep hole processing system. Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 was chosen as the development software with.net 4.0 platform of Windows 7 system as the development environent. C#language, a kind of mainstream high-level programming language, was used as development language, and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 database was used as the data management systemof expert system.Secondly, this paper set up knowledge base of the deep-hole processing by using database system to store the basic factual knowledge. Based on object-oriented method and ADO.NET technology, process library in production rule method and case base was established by using engineering knowledge as the underlying data source. Double knowledge base was established by using object-oriented method makes the data relatively independent and convenient for management, and reduce the redundancy in order to improve storage space utilization and make the program running smoothly. On this basis, the two methods,examples reasoning and rule reasoning,was designed as reasoning scheme and algorithm of the systems to realized optimal selection of technological parameters, such as cutting tool, the material,the cutting fluid and cutting parameters,according to the requirements of workpiece.Finally, the development of the system was achieved by using the object-oriented programming technology. For the purpose of easy understanding, simple and clear, login system, cutting parameter reasoning module, personal center, engineering knowledge module,sample management module and system management module were completed. System design conforms to the human-computer interaction rules and meet basic the functional requirements.
