| With the Germany proposed "Industry 4.0" high-tech strategic plan, an intelligent manufacturing dominated the fourth industrial revolution broke out quietly. Among sources of error in the machine, the thermal error is the biggest source of errors of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine tools and precision processing machinery. Moreover, the higher the precision machine tool, the greater the proportion of thermal error, thus reduce the thermal error to improve the machining accuracy of precision machine tool has the vital significance. Comprehensive research contents of domestic and foreign researchers, the research of thermal error compensation technology centered on thermal error measurement, temperature sensitive point selection, thermal error modeling and the thermal deformation compensation.In this paper, the thermal error measurement system of CNC machine tools is built. The USB data acquisition card and temperature acquisition card are developed. The modeling theory of thermal error is briefly introduced. The measurement and compensation experiment of thermal error are done,and a good practical application is obtained.The main contents of the paper are as follows:1) The thermal error measurement system of CNC machine tools based on inductance sensor is built,this system can measure the thermal error of spindle and the temperature of the machine tools.2) The design process of USB data acquisition card and temperature acquisition card is introduced in detail. The schematic diagram and program design are described.3) The selection theory of temperature sensitive point and modeling method of thermal error are briefly introduced.4) The measurement experiment of the thermal error of CNC machine tools is done. The experimental data were analyzed and the thermal error compensation model was established.5) The technique of thermal error compensation is introduced.The compensation of CNC machine tools are done,and the compensation effect is significant. |
