As the automotive, marine, power generation equipment to improve processingaccuracy requirements, and the aviation industry, the growth in demand for precisionmachining, high precision CNC machine tools rely increasingly clear and demand isgrowing. The thermal error is the most important factor to hinder the improvement ofmachining accuracy and is accounting for40%to70%of the total errors of the machinetools. To improve the machining precision of machine tool must first reduce machinethermal error, and measure and control techniques is the key to reduce the thermal error.In order to compensate thermal error and improve the machining precision ofmachine tools, thermal error compensation system has been designed in this paper.The main content of this paper including:(1) Expounded the source and research significance of the topic, introduces thedomestic and foreign research present situation, the data collection system and theexisting problems, and explains the key research content of this topic.(2)Developed a set of integrated thermal error measurement system. The system ismainly composed of thermal error measuring system, temperature measuring units,industrial PC and virtual instrument software unit, through thermal error of machinetool spindle and the machine heat source temperature measurement and preservation torealize the collection of experimental data.(3)Introduced thermal error modeling technology on CNC machine. Using fuzzycluster analysis and gray relational grade theory to optimize the temperature measuringpoints. Mainly expounded the theory of multiple linear regression model and distributedlags model.(4) Developed a set of machine tool thermal error compensation card. Designed thecompositions and introduced the design of hardware and softwareon modularize method.(5)Experimented on the Leaderway V-450CNC machine to verify the effectivenessof the thermal error compensation system.
