Design And Development Of Embedded Adapter Based Data Acquisition And Monitoring System For CNC Machine Tools

With the development of information technology, network technology and economic globalization, advanced manufacturing model represented by networked manufacturing is gradually replacing the traditional manufacturing model. However, in domestic CNC machine tools shops, there are various types of CNC machine tools and the larger part of CNC machine tools work in single-mode, which leads to lower overall equipment effectiveness of CNC machine tools and reduces the competitiveness of manufacturing enterprises.Combining networked manufacturing with CNC machine tools and building networked CNC machine tools shops, which can promote the overall equipment effectiveness of CNC machine tools and competitiveness of enterprises.In order to realize network of CNC machine tools, it is essential to realize communication between CNC machine tools and host computer, data acquisition and processing and remote monitoring and management of CNC machine tools. Based on analysis and summary of the research condition of the three aspects, promote data acquisition and monitoring system for CNC machine tools based on embedded adapter.System implementation is divided into two parts: design and development of embedded adapter and design and development of remote monitoring and management system for CNC machine tools. On one hand, design and implement hardware system of embedded adapter, select and customize embedded operation system of embedded adapter and design and development of data acquisition and processing software according to the requirements of communication, data acquisition and processing and monitoring and management. On the other hand, design embedded adapter configuration and management module, NC program transmission and management module and monitoring and management module of operation status of CNC machine tools based on embedded adapter and monitoring and management server according to requirements of remote monitoring and management, select and transplant embedded server, then develop monitoring and management dynamic interactive web pages based on general web server——IIS and embedded web server——GoAhead and realize remote monitoring and management system of B/S structure.Finally, tests of communication, tests of data acquisition and processing and tests of remote monitoring and management are done according to the functions of data acquisition and monitoring system for CNC machine tools. Results show that the embedded adapter achieves serial communication with CNC machine tools, wireless communication with the monitoring and management server, data acquisition and syntax heterogeneous data processing of CNC machine tools; remote monitoring and management system realizes embedded adapter configuration and management, transmission and management of NC programs and CNC machine tools operation status monitoring and management.
