The conductive and heat conduction of Copper tube is quite good. Copper tube is widely used in electric industy, communications industry and so on. And the requirement of copper’s quality improves gradually. Three-roll planetary rolling technology determines copper’s quality as the core technology.So thermal mechanical coupling analysis of copper tube is of great significance.The copper tube go through large deformation and produce lots of heat during PSW progress. In consideration of above characteristics, the paper adopt MSC.Marc to simulate PSW progress:simplifying the simulation model, establishing the geometry and material model, confirming the technological parameters of PSW process, determining boundary Conditions. The paper establish accuracy simulation model of copper tube PSW progress. And the accuracy simulation is help to get the rolling force, the copper tube temperature and so on.Through the simulation of PSW progress, the paper gets the state parameters: deformation of copper tube, force-energy parameters of PSW process, temperature of copper tube, contact status of roller and copper tube.The results indicate that the deformation of copper tube can divide into reducing area, concentrate deformation area, plastic area and rounding area.The cross section of copper tube exist triangle deformation effect. During the PSW progress,force of roller fluctuates about 220kN.The top temperature of copper tube is about 700℃.The contact area of roller and copper tube is distributed about 20°.And the paper verificate the simulation result by the state parameters of copper tube rolling production field and theoretical calculation of contact status of roller and copper tube.Combined with the force-energy Parameters, copper tube temperature and contact status of roller and copper tube, the paper proceeds Thermal Mechanics Coupled Analysis of Roller by ANSYS Workbench, getting the temperature of roller, the variation of temperature,the deformation of roller and so on. The paper verificate the simulation result by the result of the simulation of copper tube PSW progress.The reaserch is help to optimize the technology parameters of PSW progress, and also provides force-energy Parameters, copper tube temperature and contact status of roller and copper tube, which is the basic parameters of reaserch on thermal mechanics coupled analysis of roller.And it’s the basement of the reaserch on damage of roller. And it also provides theoretical basis of extenion of roller service life.By this,the reserch is helpful to improve the quality of products and reduce producion cost.
