Application And Evaluation On Demulsifier Of Crude Oil Emulsions From ASP Flooding

Recently, alkaline-surfactant-polymer(ASP) flooding has emerged as a new important oil recovery technology. The ASP technique has proven efficient for significantly improving oil recovery. Because of the advantages of this technology, ASP has been widely utilized in the domestic oilfields, especially Daqing oilfield. However, the ASP can increase the stability of crude oil emulsion, leading to making more difficult to separate the mixed oil and water. Thus, the efficient demulsifier is urgent researched. Among different types of demulsifiers, the ternary demulsifier has attracted much attention in the research field of crude oil production.Based on the actual application of ASP flooding technique in Daqing oilfield, preparative routes and experimental conditions of the ternary demulsifiers were identified through laboratory tests. Furthermore, some targeted ternary demulsifiers were prepared according to the specific situation of different experimental blocks in Daqing oilfield. The resultant ternary demulsifiers can be widely applied in these ASP flooding blocks in Daqing oilfield after field validation.The thesis is divided into two main parts: laboratory experiments and field application. In the part of laboratory experiments, the simulated ASP flooding produced liquids were adopted as experimental medium to select and evaluate targeted demulsifiers. The optimized formulation of demulsifiers that can meet technical requirement was determined. In another part of field application, the as-prepared demulsifiers were applied in some ASP flooding blocks of Daqing oilfield to further confirm the suitability of the demulsifiers.ASP flooding produced fluid processing technique is an important part of the development and application of ASP flooding technology. The research can serve as a reference and provide a good example of ternary demulsifier for ASP flooding technique.
