Along with the exploitation of finite fossil resources are, how to make more efficient use of resources, screened from the tailings remain valuable and useful minerals is particularly imprortant. In the contemporary method of tailings disposal, flotation method was often used for mineral processing, but how to produce inline with micro-Bubble flotation requirements has been flotation problems.For mineral flotation, in this paper, based on flotation principle, composite Micro Bubble Generator is designed to meet the requirements of flotation tailings processing. First introduced the flotation theory, this paper summarizes the development history of flotation process and produce Micro Bubble of various methods, analyzed the formation of the Micro Bubble, and the ore grain adhesion process, the influence of the diameter of mineral flotation. Compared the various Micro Bubble Generator principle of foaming and foaming performance, selection of vortex decay Bubble Generator with Jet Bubble Generator composed of composite Micro Bubble Generator, respectively established the Jet Bubble Generator, Vortex Bubble Generator and the internal flow field of compound Micro Bubble Generator model, using FLUENT software for simulation, the Micro Bubble Generator speed mesh, stress mesh and turbulent kinetic energy contours and air content diagram. Finally through the clear water experiment and the flotation experiments of iron concentrate tailings, verify the performance of the composite Micro Bubble Generator.By modeling and simulation and experiment, the Jet Bubble Generator input terminal velocity, the greater the suction mouth, blower, air content, the greater the negative pressure value when the input velocity of 15 m/s, valve diameter is 1.2 mm, for this kind of iron ore concentrate tailings flotation effect is better.
