Casing process is one of the key processes in tobacco shred manufacturing, the effect of the casing process affects the sensory quality and brand style of cigarette products. The researches in the thesis are based on the project "Research and Application of Multi-physics Coupling Effects Based on Digital Characterization in Tobacco Shred Manufacturing Process" and casing equipment of K cigarette factory’s production line CC-HBD. The approaches of statistical process control (SPC) and response surface method (RSM) are utilized to enhance the effect of "the cigarette of Yunnan" shred manufacturing casing process.Research process is in accordance with the "quality control" and the idea of "quality improvement". It mainly divided into two parts, one is the quality control of casing process; the second is the enhancement of the charging effect via experimental design, model fitting and process optimization. In quality control part of casing process, on the basis of the current investigation situation, the problems existed in the statistical process of casing process were analysed and explained. Through the impact of data sequence autocorrelation, the calculation example by collecting moisture data of casing machine outlet is figured out and time series models as well as the new process capability index. The foregoing experimental data provide a scientific and suitable evaluation method for the daily performance assessment for the K factory production process capability, the Cpk which the author calculated could provide adjustments and references for the next phase of silk casing process. As to the optimization of charging effect, firstly, the appropriate processing intensity parameters are determined to guarantee the quality of tobacco, the researches on the influence of casing process intensity towards the quality and liquid material in the test line; Then the key process parameters of casing machine in tobacco shred manufacturing process in production line D are optimized to enhance the effect of liquid material application, yet fails to reduce the amount of tobacco consumption; Moreover, the research subjects from the viewpoint of the nozzle atomization performance, are further specified, got sound casing effects by the optimization of casing nozzles and its parameters. Finally, the experimental results are validated through relevant application in B, C line.This author of this thesis focuses on solving practical problems. By the control of casing process and enhancement of the casing effect, the appropriate casing technology of "Yun Yan" are established to maximize its function in casing process so as to improve the quality of cigarette products. Besides, all these experimental approaches are capable of providing applicable theoretical basis and technological foundation for the stability and commercial brand promotion of the K cigarette factory.
