Now automatic control technology has broad application prospects in the oil field, the digital oil field is the future direction of development of the oil field. ZigBee technology as an advanced wireless ad hoc network technology, with some distance wireless transmission,low power consumption and high transmission success rate. In this paper, the application of ZigBee technology in oilfield as the background to understand the relationship between ZigBee and IEEE802.15.4 protocol, Deply study of the ZigBee routing algorithms, including Cluster-Tree, AODV, AODVjr, clustering routing and energy balance routing algorithm.Specific contents are as follows:(1) Describes the IEEE802.15.4 and ZigBee protocol common physical layer(PHY) and media access control layer(MAC), and ZigBee protocol-specific network layer(NWK) and application layer(APL). Analysis of the different types of ZigBee network topology and nodes device type in the network.(2) Distributed address allocation for each ZigBee network node,base on this analysis of the Cluster-Tree, AODV algorithm and AODVjr three types of routes algorithm. ZigBee routing algorithm based on Cluster-Tree and AODVjr routing algorithm, through simulation software, Cluster-Tree AODVjr and ZigBee this three types routing algorithm performance under tree network topologies, analysis of ZigBee routing algorithm compared to other advantages of the two routing algorithms.(3) Analysis of the factors restricting energy consumption as ZigBee technology in the field of large-scale applications, the study of energy balance routing and clustering routing algorithm, combining the traditional ZigBee routing algorithm, put forward ZigBee routing based clustering and energy balance, which does not affect the data transmission between the nodes in the network efficiency while reducing the power consumption of the entire network,avoiding overuse single node bring about node death caused network segmentation.(4) Learn various parameters in oilfield need to monitor, respectively, design for three different types of nodes in a ZigBee network include coordinator node, routing nodes and end nodes, write PC software to achieve a multi-channel wireless data transmission experiment..
