Due to poor quality, processing loss, waste and so on, a large number of wool resources are discarded every year. However, these discarded resources contain a great quantity of keratin. If these resources can be recycled, we can not only alleviate the shortage of wool resources, but also reduce the pollution of the environment. In recent years, the technology of keratin extraction is becoming more and more mature, and the additional value of the product is greatly improved. In recent years, air pollution become a serious problem, and people has been paid more and more attention the air quality. In this study, keratin was extracted from wool, and nanofiber membrane were prepared by keratin and poly ethylene oxide(PEO) blended solutions.This paper mainly studies on the following aspects:Firstly, using sodium sulfide as reducing agent and adding sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS) to extract keratin from wool. Spinning solutions were prepared by mixing keratin formic acid solution and PEO formic acid solution respectively. We got nanofiber membrances by electronic spinning. The influence of the mass fraction, the ratio, voltage, receiving distance, flux on the fiber morphology with the keratin/PEO formic solution was studied to optimization of technical parameters.Secondly, the conductivity and rheological properties of different ratio of keratin and PEO formic acid solutions were studied. Nanofiber membrances were prepared by the method of electrospinning. The molecular structure, aggregation structure and mechanical property of nanofiber membraces were researched. The air filtration performance of the composite films which were prepared in different spinning time were studied.Finally, different ratio of keratin and PEO aqueous solutions were prepared.The conductivity and rheological properties of the solutions were studied. And nanofiber membrances were prepared by electrospinning the blended solutions. The molecular structure, aggregation structure and mechanical property of nanofiber membraces were researched.
