At present, coal occupies a large proportion in the structure of energy, the main way to get coal resources, however, still relies on the miners mining under coal mine. The environment in which gas explosion or landslides easily is very complex and dangerous under the mine. The miners’lives are in danger at any time once the accident occurs under the mine,so it is important to get the positioning information of personnel under the mine accurately for the rescue. Therefore, this paper proposed personnel positioning system under the mine, which is designed to obtain the location information of personnel under the mine in real time so as to improve the efficiency of the rescue.On the basis of research for existing positioning principle and method and in consideration of the actual situation of project ralated to this paper, the method of this system is designed to be the single tunnel longitudinal positioning method; Wireless ranging method called TOF based time of flight is adopted in the system,which solved the problem that radio waves attenuate seriously due to rock environment is very complex under the mine; Based on Ethernet data transmission technology, so as to achieve the uploading of positioning data in client mode based on TCP/IP protocol.To realize the transmission of positioning data,overall scheme is based on wired and wireless transmission technology, by stationing the main card and auxiliary card as well as labeled card, and collecting location information, in the end upload the positioning data in client mode based on TCP/IP protocol. Completing design of hardware circuit of the main card and auxiliary card as well as labeled card according to the system overall design.The core processor of main card is STM32F103 which combines the network interface chip called W5100 to complete positioning data transmission based on Ethernet, combines JN5148 the wireless module to complete range data of nodes transmission based on wireless sensor network;auxiliary card and labeled card use JN5148 as core processor to complete range data of nodes transmission based on wireless sensor network;System use the Keil uVision4 and Eclipse which is software development environment to complete the design of relevant procedure.On the basis of researching results, conducting experiment in the teaching building corridor and opened field in campus after constructing platform used for experiment which is recorded the data of 600 meters within valid scope, the precision is less than 2.5 meters, and the limit distance in the actual measuring up to 1200 meters changes from 450 meters within valid scope and precision of 10 meters at least after optimizing Impedance matching and improving antenna gain and increasing the processing algorithm based on median filter and mean filter.The experiment shows that the positioning data transmits fluently, which verify the feasibility and practicability of solution.
