In recent years, with the rapid development of urbanization, sewage emissions continued to grow, it is becoming a serious problem that natural water has accept excessive emissions of nitrogen and phosphorus nutrients in the exposure of eutrophication, while ecological environment and human health are subject to its harm. The most direct causes of eutrophication is the emissions of nitrogen and phosphorus in the tail water from wastewater treatment plant exceed the standard, so the control of emissions of nitrogen and phosphorus in tail water of sewage treatment plant, has become one of the important measures for preventing and controlling eutrophication. Therefore, the overall planning of economic and social development in the twelfth five year period in China for sewage treatment increased the constraint index, in this situation, our country’s many sewage treatment plant is faced with the urgent needs of reconstruction.Moving bed biofilm reactor considered in this paper is suitable for upgrading and reconstruction of the sewage treatment plant as a selected process. MBBR method compared with activated sludge process, has the characteristics of high load, high efficiency, long sludge age, good temperature adaptability ectThis topic designs the different running conditions, focus on the reaction device of MBBR and A/O combination process, the treatment effect of various pollutants and its ability to resist impact, adjustment ability on the low temperature were studied to provide basic parameters for the practical application of MBBR for reference.Take the filling ratio, water treatment (HRT), aerobic tank dissolved oxygen concentration, temperature, these four main operating conditions as analysis of factors and change the above four operating conditions to study the removal effect of COD, ammonia nitrogen, total nitrogen, total phosphorus. For suspended mediaum, we select the K3 type packing made of high density polyethylene material, while the filling ratio is chosen as 35%, can take into account both the treatment effect and energy consumption economy, the final determination of the suitability of filling ratio value is 35%. When the daily processing of water reached 40m3/d, the hydraulic retention time was 1.92h, the system can make a quick adjustment and adaptation while there’s a sudden increase in water amount. Four main indexes in the effluent can reach or close to the first level A standard ruled in Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant (GB18918-2002). When the test was carried out in winter, the lowest temperature can be reduced to 12 degrees Celsius, under this operation conditions, The index of the pollutant in the effluent can still reach the standard. The above results showed the huge potential of sewage water treatment and the anti shock load capacity of the MBBR system. When the temperature dropped to a low level, the microorganisms attached on the media provide the possibility for the system to adapt to the change of temperature. As for sludge floating, mud leakage from the device, aerobic pool foaming etc, We has carried on the analysis, laboratory experiment added when necessary, the final solution is put forward. The combination process of MBBR and A/O can be applied to the upgrading and reconstruction of the existing old sewage treatment plant, it is highly competitive in technology and economy, and it is also a suitable process for China’s sewage treatment. The study on application of this process will help to improve the sewage treatment effect on the upgrading of the sewage treatment plant, it can also help to reduce the cost of sewage treatment, it has a important significance for environmental protection.
