The Research Of Fixed Offshore Platform Economic Design Life

Offshore drilling mainly makes use of the fixed jacket platform. Some platforms have reached their design live before the oil fields have not been depleted, some platforms have not reached their design live before the oil fields have not been depleted, the fixed platforms cost vary widely if they have different design lives. So we should combine with the situations of different oilfields to design the fixed offshore platform service lives economically.This research is done based on model of CB22 F integration platform which was designed as 20-year life. The research can improve the platform’s performance, make full use of the platform, reduce the waste of resources. Setting up platform modal and analyzing the force strength of the platform under the action of wave force, wind load and sea ice. The paper makes platform mode analysis by calculating platform inherent frequency to calculate two order modal wave force dynamic response of the platform.This paper introduces the level of platform detection and detection frequency, damage factors and reinforcement and repair standards of platform. Adopting grouting clamp method to repair platform craters, and providing the theoretical calculation and numerical example simulation of this method. This thesis provides calculation method of anode blocks dosage, according to size and area of platform.Providing fixed offshore platform full life cycle cost structure. For each stage of the cost, this thesis provides cost modal which includes initial cost model, detection and maintenance cost model and remove the cost model. Compositing each stage cost of platform to provide fixed offshore platform the whole life cycle cost modal.Fixed offshore platform calculation software was developed through VB, which could compare design cost, construction cost, installation cost, operation cost and maintenance cost to get the whole life cycle cost in different years in order to make sure the best design life.
