Compared with TNT based melt-cast explosive, DNAN based melt-cast explosive has an advantage in sensitivity, production and lethality, which makes it has abroad prospect of research. Study of the detonation parameters of DNAN based melt-cast explosive has important significance in improving performance of explosive, formula ratio and numerical simulation. In this paper, based on the classical BKW state equation, the author combined with the measured detonation velocity, detonation pressure and explosive heat data, studies the detonation parameters of the typical DNAN based melt-cast explosive.Summarizeed the calculation method of BKW state equation, and the explosive detonation parameters of the ideal explosives were studied. By changing one or more paremeters of the BKW state equation, the author calculated the explosive detonation velocity and detonation pressure, and the calculated results were compared with the experimental data, after correction, finally we got a set of BKW state equation parameters: α=0.5,β=0.19,θ=400,k=9.81, which apply to DNAN based melt-cast ideal explosive. The error can be controlled within 3%.The detonation mechanism of non-ideal explosives were studied, introducing the concept of inert aluminum powder in BKW programs, determined the proportion of reactive aluminium powder in the detonation reaction zone by the explosive heat. On this basis, we got a set of BKW state equation parameters: α=0.5, β=0.24, θ=400, k=8.5, which apply to DNAN based melt-cast non-ideal explosives. The error can be controlled within 5%, which meets the requirements of the study and use of aluminized explosives.Introduced a kind of simple algorithm which can get the JWL parameters of CHNO explosives, according to the principle, use Matlab programming, calculated the JWL parameters of ideal explosives in this paper. Expounded the method how to get the JWL parameters of explosive by BKW state equation, and calculated the JWL parameters of DNAN based melt-cast explosive in this paper, which can Provide certain reference basis for the numerical simulation research.
