Self-propagating High-temperature Synthesis(SHS) is a new technique making use of the heat from the chemical reaction between reactors for preparing materials. Gravitational SHS separation technique possesses excellent corrosion resistance, wear resistance and high temperature performance when making composite pipe lined ceramics.But the ceramic layer thickness control process is complicated, for defects of ceramic layer can not be repaired, the ceramic layer and the steel pipe with lower intensity to be solved.Aiming at this problem, this paper uses gravity self propagating high temperature synthesis technology of preparing complex phase ceramic lined pipe, the core diameter changes disappear on the ceramic layer thickness, hardness, porosity and mechanical properties; to study different content of SiO2, ZrO2 ceramic layer caused by the density effect of;The effect of TiC+Al+Ti+C system with different content on the properties of ceramic layer and steel tube was studied.Studies have shown that optimum ratio of reaction for the weight of the Al and Fe2O3 ratio 2:5 and system content accounted for 90%, SiO2 content is 10%, join the disappear core diameter accounted for 1/3 of the inner diameter of a steel tube, ceramic layer thickness of the highest hardness, flexural strength is maximum and the porosity of the lowest; join accounted for total quality for 15% glycerol as a binder, Al and Fe2O3 weight ratio is 2:5 and the system content accounted for 82%, SiO2 content is 8%, ZrO2 is 10% is made of pressing block by self spread was obtained by the reaction of the ceramic layer of hole rate lowest, bending strength,hardness is the highest.With the addition of 8% TiC+Al+Ti+C system, the formation of Ti3AlC2 improved the ceramic layer and the steel tube binding performance and bending strength, reduce the porosity of the ceramic layer.
