Riser is a key equipment in the process of offshore drilling, it plays an important role in cutting off the sea water. It is necessary to ensure the safety and stability of the riser in the process of marine drilling.Due to the particularity of the marine environment, the riser working in the sea bears very complicated environmental loads. Aiming at shallow marine riser, this paper makes the mechanics research, analyzes the environmental loads, including wind, current, wave forces, and sea ice force, makes the mechanics research of the riser that inserted to the bottom of the sea mud.Under the ocean environmental loads, riser bending will happen, in order to reduce the bending deformation and ensure the drilling work smoothly, tension is needed. In this paper, on the basis of mechanics research, the required tension is calculated through theoretical analysis, the finite element analysis method is used to get the deflection of the shallow marine riser, and the deformation and stress situations under specific environmental condition with different tension force is maintained, then we can exert a certain tension force on the riser to ensure the normal work according to the environmental conditions and equipment requirements.Tensioner is the equipment applying the tension force. The structure of tensioner is designed after the tension force is calculated. Six hydraulic cylinder is used to apply the necessary tension force, and the structure and the inner sealing are designed. The strength of the key components is checked through the finite element analysis.After the mechanics research and deformation analysis of shallow marine riser, based on Visual Basic 6.0 software development environment, a shallow marine riser tension calculation software is created, the software can realize the calculation of tension and riser deformation curve simulation.
