It is necessary to carry out emergency disconnect operation for riser when the sea condition is severe or dynamic positioning system fails,and the recoil behavior after an emergency disconnect have great influence on workers,equipment as well as environmental safety.In view of this,this paper was supported by "Cylinder Type Riser Tensioner Technology Research" which is one branch of the National Ministry of Marine Engineering Equipment Scientific Research Project "Floating Drilling Compensation System Development Project" and Shandong Province Natural Science Fund Joint Special "Deepwater Drilling Riser Tensioner Coupling Dynamics and Safety Control Research".Based on this,research on the anti-recoil control technology analysis for deepwater drilling riser-tensioner system was conducted.The research result can provide reference for the safety management and emergency decision of drilling risers.The main research developments are as follows.(1)The structure and principle of DAT were introduced in the paper.Considering the ideal gas equation,the pressure drop in the hydraulic pipe and recoil control valve,theoretical model of DAT was established.Based on the theoretical model,the simulation model for DAT was built by MATLAB software,and the effect of high pressure gas volume on tension and stiffness of the tensioner system was studied.(2)The dynamics analysis model of riser system was established,and the coupling dynamics model of the riser tensioner system was proposed with consideration of coupling connection mode between riser and tensioner and the tensioner system dynamics model.Then the riser tensioner system coupling dynamic model under various operating conditions was established.According to the solve process,several modules were established and the analysis software of deepwater drilling riser-tensioner system coupling dynamics was designed.(3)Dynamic response of the riser system under all the operating condition which is consisted of connected,disconnected and suspended operation was analyzed,and the basic limiting factors of setting the time of emergency disconnect under the coupling model was determined.The axial dynamic response of riser system under emergency disconnect was studied,and the law of axial dynamic response of the deepwater drilling riser-tensioner system was determined,which include both hard and soft suspension after emergency disconnect.In addition,the influence of wave period on hard and soft suspension was carried out.(4)The basic structure and principle of the anti-recoil control technology for riser tensioner system were introduced in the paper,and the influence of different factors on the emergency escape after anti-recoil riser system kinetics recoil were analyzed base on the coupling dynamic model of riser tensioner system.Then the riser system recoil control scheme was made and riser recoil control strategy was provided.
