In this paper, on the basis of analysis to the development and technical levels of the domestic and foreign long stroke pumping unit, do some research about the selection and design of winding pumping unit, put forward the overall design scheme of WCYJD 16-08-73-Z type winding pumping unit. The major works included the following parts:Firstly, according to the actual needs of the pumping units in the development of domestic oil field, compared to several types of long stroke pumping units, analysis their advantages and disadvantages, the working principle, basic parameters, the whole structure scheme of winding pumping unit were proposed; Completed the theoretical calculation, selection, strength check of the main parts of winding pumping unit, such as: motor, chain drive, expansion sleeve, bearing, balanced weight, make way institution, towel; Drew the 3D parts and assembly diagram by solidworks, finished the finite element analysis of the key parts by ansys workbench; Got the acceleration, velocity and displacement change regulation and curve by doing the motion analysis of the winding pumping unit, got the static horsehead load, dynamic load mathematical expressions and static dynamometer by doing the analysis of the polished rod load; The belt of the winding pumping unit is winding at the roller, the winding pumping unit can finish the out of the way operation by the interaction of motor, belt, former platform, selected the belt of the winding pumping unit, finished the wear and tensile test of the belt, finally meet the requirement of the actual needs.Theoretical analysis shows that: the winding pumping unit is a kind of new type pumping unit which is convenient for maintenance, easy operation for making way, long stroke and low stroke frequency. It has a huge significance to our development of oilfield.
