The temper rolling process in the production process of strip mill can improve the shape quality, physical and mechanical properties of the final products, and it is one of the important processes to improve the quality of cold rolled strip. In this paper, taking the design and debugging of the electrical control system of the 900 mm four roller cold rolling mill of Tangshan Jian long cold rolling mill as the background is mainly completed as follows:Firstly in the full analysis of mill equipment configuration based on the four roller 900 mm, a detailed description of the formation of the unit mechanical and hydraulic equipment configurations procedures process and operational requirements mill electrical control system functional requirementsat the request of the development of the control system and lay the foundation for a specific design of electrical control system. for mechanical system configuration and process requirements, in order to ensure the safe and stable operation of the system based on using distributed control network structure, concrete design of PLC controller and field bus and Ethernet network control structure, core controller adopts Siemens S7-400 PLC +FM458, based on complete electrical control system hardware design.Secondly based on Siemens PLC STEP 7 software platform, complete control of the PLC software design and carry out basic automation system sequential logic control,electric drive control, hydraulic pump station control software programming.This system is using SIMATIC fm458 module of CFC software and completes the hydraulic servo system control software, hydraulic pressure control and elongation control system programming.As the same time it designed mill man-machine interface using the Wonderware In Touch software and completed field equipment operation data monitoring and control parameter settings,mainly including the equipment at the scene of the real-time data monitoring, parameter setting, running state, historical data and operation alarm functions and so on.In addition the system is based on many years actual data in the field of the steelworks and process lookup table by the experience to develop.By querying the process with experience,determined the level off rolling forecast value.Through field debugging,the designed system can fulfill the production requirements and it worked well.
