Continuous casting is the main means of steel production, reasonable vibration of mold is a key factor to ensure the smooth progress of the continuous casting. The mold vibration mode has a direct influence on the continuous casting process and the quality of the slab. The practice shows that the good effect can be obtained by using sine and non sinusoidal vibration. In this paper, a computer control system is developed for the vibration control of continuous casting mold based on electro hydraulic servo driven continuous casting mould vibration platform. It also has a theoretical study on the potential steel leakage in the process of mold vibration. The main work of this paper is as follows:Firstly, aiming at the existing electro hydraulic servo drive mold vibration platform in the laboratory, the working principle, overall composition, and vibration mode of the system are introduced in this paper.Secondly, the overall design scheme of the computer control system of the continuous casting mold vibration is proposed. Through the study of the visual programming language of VC++ and the application of the data acquisition card under windows environment, completed the design and development on continuous casting mold vibration system computer control system, programed a friendly host computer monitoring interface for the mold vibration system, and realized the real-time monitoring and control of mold vibration system.Again, the types of steel leakage accident are introduced in detail. In view of the high probability of leakage accident, through the analysis of the mechanism of the steel leakage accident, put forward a kind of active learning based on GA-SVM classifier breakout prediction algorithm. Combined with the actual data of a steel mill, the results show that the prediction accuracy of the proposed algorithm is 97.7%.At last, laboratory experiments are carried out on the developed computer control system. The seven modes of vibration(sinusoidal vibration and six kinds of non sinusoidal vibration waveform) were tested. The results show that the design of the computer control system can realize the on-line modification, displacement tracking, and waveform with speed smooth switching function.
