The modern printing press is developing toward the direction of high-speed smooth, high-speed flexible, high-speed multi-color, digital network, operation and management of the integration, automatic control and safety environmental protection, PC control system for printing presses have become increasingly demanding.The dissertation mainly researches on PC control system for the printing press and puts forward the control system scheme of design. The final purpose is to realize the development of CIP4 digital ink preset System module, to optimize CIP3 digital ink preset System(DIPS) module, to achieve the development of water-ink rolls control module, to perfect the overprint control module, to realize the adjustment module of paper and pressure, to manage the control system data by using database technology and to enhance the memory capacity of the PC control system.Firstly, the PC control system scheme of design was put forward. The main function modules include ‘operation management’, ‘inkkeys control’, ‘ink-water control’, ‘ink-water track’, ‘paper adjust’, ‘pressure adjust’ and ‘overprint control’. Then the functions about these several major modules were expatiated respectively.Secondly, To determine the appropriate ink key opening of the preview image data by extracting information CIP3 / PPF file and analyze network area coverage or get ink preset data directly extract information CIP4 / JDF files, combined with CMYK four-color conversion curve, and it is used for pre-printing press ink key adjustments in order to achieve the ink presets. Using this efficient information transfer mode, not only improves the accuracy of the printing and printing efficiency, but also greatly reduces the work intensity waste and operator of the material.Thirdly, Establish communication between PC and PLC system, using third-party software collection of printed materials and color deviation between the third-party software and the establishment of communication, timely access to color deviation data. By analyzing the color calibration process and establish a corresponding mathematical model to extract the algorithm, the final calculated for each drawing board to adjust the position in order to achieve the purpose of automatic registration. Using this efficient mode of operation, which greatly improves the degree of automation jobs, not only improve the work efficiency, but also reduces the intensity of the work of the operator.Based on Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 for software development platform, the ink control PC system for printing press meets the current digital and networked control trend, conforms to our country enterprise’s actual demand, also can improve the international competitiveness of our homemade products.
