Adding medicament is the necessary part of the flotation operation. Manual operation due to the proficiency of the workers, the sense of responsibility, energy and technology experience, it is difficult to promptly, effectively adjust the potion, which is according to the complex changes of the flotation operation, even can appear break the situation of medicine. Realize the flotation dosing automatic control is the important means, which is to overcome the problems, reduce drug consumption, and improve the efficiency. This paper analyzed the dosing system of actuators and the structure dosing machine, which used on the market at present, and put forward a more suitable for flotation dosing process of dosing device and control system.This paper first introduces the flotation operation in the present situation and development of automatic dosing, analyses the working principle, development status and existing problems of automatic dosing system at home and abroad. In allusion to the dosing control mode of the direct acting solenoid valve and hydraulic solenoid valve, this is the most commonly used at home and abroad, this paper carried on the thorough study and test, put forward the two dosing control device, the working mechanism and mathematical model, it is concluded that the direct acting solenoid valve control is stronger adaptability and higher accuracy than the hydraulic solenoid valve control. Analyze and compare the different types of ARM microprocessor, this paper choose the STM32F107VCT6embedded microcontroller processor as the core parts of the dosing system, design the hardware system, this include the reset circuit, LCD touch screen circuit, power circuit and communication interface circuit. Using Keil uVision4.02software and μC/OS-Ⅱoperating system as dosing control system software to interactive develop the dosing control system, using Keil uVision4.02software development ARM of the control program, using the μC/OS-Ⅱ operating system and μC/GUI graphic management system to develop the man-machine interface, realized the software system of the automatic dosing control system based on ARM microprocessor. Dosing control system uses the liquid level transmitter for liquid level testing instrument, the direct acting solenoid valve and hydraulic solenoid valve as perform instrument, to realize the medicament adding automatic detection, control and manage. This paper has carried on the design and exploitation, the related application and validation for the automatic dosing device.
