Teetered bed separator is a typical sort of coarse slime separation equipment, mainly to solve the supplies whose graded was between heavy medium separation and flotation. Henan Polytechnic University had been developed the three-products teetered bed separator with property rights. In this paper, the feasibility of the coarse slime separation by this equipment was studied.Orthogonal experiments were carried out to proceed two products separation and three products separation experiment with three-products teetered bed separator, set the feeding speed and rising water flow as variables, to explore the main factor which influence on separation effect. Through the test we could determine that rising water flow was the main influence factors of the separation effect. When the inner tube flow was 1.5m3/h, and the outer tube flow was about 2.0m3/h, separation effect of three product separation was best.Used computational fluid dynamics simulation software simulated the formation and development process of fluidized bed, intuitionistic description the loose--layered process of particle swarm. Gave the three dimensional numerical simulation on three-products teetered bed separator, set particle concentration change and different cross-section Y speed of particles as index, explored the movement characteristics of every graded particles in separation process. Results shown that in the three products separation process, inner water flow rate had influence on particles concentration and movement characteristics, determined the yield of a bottom flow, overflow and the second section of underflow, outer water flow was mainly influence the yield of the secondary flow product, also had certain influence on the overflow production rate.
