At the present, most of Chinese oilfields are already at middle or late development period. The distribution of the oil and water is highly complex so that oilfield exploitation has become increasingly difficult. The most important reasons causing the above phenomena are the reservoir heterogeneity and the complex internal structure. This situation requires more efforts to build more delicate geological modeling and research that is more near to the real geological conditions.The purpose of fine geological models is to show the structure of sand bodies in reservoir, the distribution of interlayer and the change of the reservoir’s properties. It also can make us more clear about the remaining oil distribution, then we can get more theoretical bases for the comprehensive adjustment. The long term water flooding has contributed to transform reservoir’s macroscopic property and the micro pore structure. But on the other hand, some artificial measures such as acidification and fracturing which implemented in the reservoir have also induced the change. So, we can hardly recognize the reservoir in detail or cannot do reservoir numerical simulation researches accurately by only just keeping original geological model in view. Tracking researches are indispensable. We need to integrate the production data and updated data from geology, logging, seismic to construct geological model and make sure that the model’s continuous upgradation.The reservoir of ES3 in the fourth area of Bonan Oilfield is the study object of this thesis. We have established the fine geological model based on analysis results of geologic features and development characteristics. We chose the area of Y4-7-16 well group and re-established the fine model of this area in order to study the influence of the artificial processes. After that, we did some research about tracking methods in addition to this. We track the tested model by Geo EnKF model tracking module which base in EnKF to update the reservoir’s static parameters such as porosity and permeability. Thus we can get upgraded models in different time. In this way, we can better understand the properties of reservoir and find an adaptive method for establishing and tracking the model of low permeability reservoir. The results can also contribute to remaining oil development in the study area. At the same time, the experiences gained during the process of these researches has truly precious theoretical meanings and application values.
