Bohai Baya has entered an important stage in the development of exploration and development. In order to increase the production and reduce the drilling investment, a lot of development work to block drilling horizontal wells, multi-bottom wells. Drilling or less accurate, rapid completion of the drilling task, the scene in real-time geological borehole trajectory tracking technology will play a key role. Effective & proven real-time geological tracking technology to ensure the successful completion of the drilling tasks and design requirements.Field B is the fourth largest oil fields in Bohai Bay. The main target zone is in Minghuazhen Formation which is at an elevation of 1,650 to 1850 meters deep. Lithology is mainly thick claystone interbedded with 2~20 m sandstone. In order to effectively increase the output, reduce costs and design of drilling several wells(and multi-bottom wells) in the development process in the field, according to the design of each well was drilled pilot hole required.Horizon wells(and more bottom wells) are already a fairly mature technology in currently oil industry worldwide. This paper analyzes and developed the real-time geological tracking for the filed B.
