Abnormally pressured ultra-low permeability reservoir has the characteristics of both abnormally pressured reservoir and ultra-low permeability reservoir. The former has high initial production and its production decreases rapidly. In addition, it doesn’t have a period of stable production. The latter is non-Darcy flow considering start-up pressure gradient and stress sensitivity. During oil field development, the reservoir is almost elastic development with natural energy. However, the recovery of elastic development is low. Because of pressure sensitive effect, formation damage will occur. Therefore, it’s necessary to study the energy supplement of abnormally pressured ultra-low permeability reservoir. As we all know, water injection is the most conventional and effective method. As a result, reservoir engineers present advanced water injection to improve the development response. In this paper, investigation of development scheme on abnormally pressured ultra-low permeability reservoir is prepared adequately. On the base of well block Ma-2 Wuerhe formation reservoir, the development effectiveness of advanced water injection in test wells is evaluated. By establishing reservoir model and numerical simulation model, with the study of start-up pressure gradient and stress sensitivity and relative permeability variation and oilfield test, oil water distribution and formation distribution and pressure gradient distribution at the end of advanced water injection are studied. Furthermore, advanced water injection mechanism is analyzed. The development factors and non-development factors influencing advanced water injection development effectiveness are studied. Water sensitive influence is elaborated. At last, reasonable development policy of well block Ma-2 Wuerhe formation reservoir developed by advanced water injection is established, which includes pressure level at water injection stage, advanced water injection volume, advanced water injection intensity, advanced water injection time, oil and water flowing pressure at producing stage, fluid production rate, injection-production ratio.
