The room temperature vulcanization(RTV) silicone adhesive has excellent heat resistance, cold resistance, weather resistance, electrical insulation and chemical stability, but the mechanical properties not been reinforcing are not good. In this paper, the RTV silicone adhesive reinforced by the MQ silicone resin and the fumed silica are studied.The MQ silicone resin was polymerized by using the hexamethyl disiloxane(MM) and the sodium silicate(Q) are monomer, the solvent is ethanol, the catalyst is hydrochloric acid, the extractant is xylene. The MQ silicone resins were polymerized by different weight ratio of MM and Q were used to reinforce the 107 silicone adhesive. The results found that the 15% MQ silicone resin polymerized which MM and Q is 0.6, the adhesion strength is 0.73 MPa, are increased 143%.The surface of the fumed silica was modified by γ-Aminopropyl triethoxy silane(KH550)、γ-Glycidoxypropy1 trimethoxy silane(KH560)、γ-Methacryloxypropyl trimethoxy silane(KH570). They are tested FT-TR that results are the coupler is grafted onto the aerosil’s surface and the KH570 is best. The aerosil 15% modified by KH570 is added the 107 silicone adhesive, the adhesion strength is 0.80 MPa, are increased by 166%.The aluminum alloy and the 6146# silicone rubber were modified by silane coupler, the contact angle of water has decreased significantly, the surface wettability has improved significantly. The KH570 is the best, the contact angle of water of the 6146#silicone rubber is decreased 34.2%. The 6146# silicone rubber were modified by the low-temperature plasma, the hydrophily has improved, the surface wettability has improved, but the low-temperature plasma treatment has the time efficiency. The adhesion strength of the 107 silicone adhesive is increased by 133% the 6146# silicone rubber is modified by the low-temperature plasma.Reinforced the 107 and 103 silicone adhesive by MQ silicone resin and fumed silica that surface modified by silane coupling agent. The research is found that the mechanical properties of the silicone adhesives have been significantly improved with the MQ silicone resin and the aerosol. For example: the 107 silicone adhesive that the tensile strength is to 2.77 MPa, the adhesion strength is to 1.25 MPa, the 103 silicone adhesive that the tensile strength is to 3.12 MPa, the adhesion strength is to 2.48 MPa.
