Nano silver and nano palladium show up the excellent physical and chemical properties due to its surface effect, small size effect, quantum effect that bring out a large amount of research and a wide range of applications.Nano silver are widely used in the antibacterial, electrical, optical, catalytic, biological materials and other fields because of their special properties.The most prominent of nano palladium is its excellent catalytic performance. In recent years,it is becoming a hot spot of nanomaterials research that the study of its preparation methods and properties.Combining with the production of heavy ion nuclear pore membrane technology characteristics which is owned to the China Institute of Atomic Energy Nuclear Physics Technology R & D Center.With the preparation of the heavy ion nuclear pore membrane for nano silver and nano palladium are described, and Detailly introduces the preparation method of heavy ion nuclear pore membrane, which on the basis of the preparation for the heavy ion nuclear pore membrane template, auxiliarying electrochemical deposition and successfully preparing nano silver and nano palladium.The main contents are as follows:1.Through a lot of research, We Summarize the advantage of heavy ion nucl ear pore membrane templates for preparing nano-meter materials and the excellent performance of nano silver and nano palladium.Combining with the characteristics of the laboratory, and it is very meaningful that completing preparation of the nano silver and nano palladium by using this method.2.Researching the preparation of heavy ion nuclear pore membrane, and the key point are polyester(PET)membrane and the preparation of polycarbonate(PC)membrane. The energy losses and the ranges of different heavy ions withdifferent e nergy in Kapton film, PC and PET were calculated by the software SRIM 2008,w hich provided theoretical basis for the HI-13 tandem accelerator irradiating samples.3.Membrane material was completed its preparation process by irradiating, sen sitizating and etching, studying the effects of influence factors on the preparation and using electron microscopy morphology for the Morphology characterization.4.Nuclear pore membrane template preparation need three progress.First, select appropriate pore size and density of PET, PC membrane.Second, plat gold on one side of the membrane layer for the electrical conductivity.Third, layer electroplatin g a layer of 15-20 microns of copper substrate on the gold to prevent intertangling in the Soluble membrane process.5. The homemade experimental apparatus and electrochemical deposition were used to Prepare template, and then complete the deposition of nano silver and nan o palladium. Then methylene chloride(CH2Cl2) and high hot alkali solubility are re spectiveiy used to dissolve PC and PET film,which were cleaned for subsequent ch aracterization.6. The morphology and structure of the nano silver and nano palladium were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer(EDX).The results indicate that nano silver and nano pa lladium orderly distribute on the template,size uniform, smooth surface, wide distrib ution of length to diameter ratio.
