With the development of science and technology, functional gradient materials,as a new type of materials, greatly promote the development of economic society, functional gradient materials have good practical application performance. The research on the propagation and mechanical properties of the wave is more and more attention, and has been widely studied by scholars both at home and abroad.Functional gradient materials have been widely used in the fields of Aerospace Engineering, mechanical engineering, energy engineering, electronic engineering, construction engineering, biomedical engineering and other high-end scientific fields.Functionally graded materials are used as a guide, so it can be used for nondestructive testing of the gradient materials by the propagation properties of Yu Bo. Based on this principle, a brief overview of the study is as follows:First use of the series expansion iteration method of stress wave propagation in functionally graded materials calculation examples, discusses the stress wave in the frequency domain and time domain propagation characteristics and gradient coefficient changes impact on the dispersion characteristics of. By using variational method has conducted the research on the characteristics of love wave transmission in functional gradient material structure is Love waves in functionally graded materials in the frequency scattered equation, with a specific example discussed the thickness effect on the dispersion of love wave with the exact solution phase contrast proved the correctness of the theory. Finally, the propagation properties of PSV coupled waves in functionally graded plates are studied. The Rayleigh wave propagation characteristics and the positive and negative mode propagation characteristics of Lamb wave in the functionally graded plate with infinite thickness are discussed respectively. This study is helpful to the nondestructive testing of functional gradient materials, the survey of mineral resources and the prediction of seismic data, and provides theoretical help for the optimization and design of functionally graded materials.
