Recently, as the rapid development of our social economy and the accelerating process of urbanization and industrialization, the quality of groundwater deteriorate constantly. The issue of groundwater pollution becomes increasingly visible. It would seriously influence the quality of water supply, endanger the health of human, affect social stability, bring a great loss to the economic construction, deeply restrict the harmony and the sustainable development of the groundwater environment. The research and evaluation of groundwater environment is particularly important, studying and solving the problem of the groundwater environment has become the urgent problem.The thesis rationally designs 41 groundwater monitoring well through collecting related geological and hydrogeological data, combining them with the status of local groundwater exploitation and utilization. It has monitored the groundwater environment by analyzing-contrast method. It has evaluated the groundwater environmental quality in the survey area with single component evaluation methods and comprehensive evaluation methods. It gets the follow results. The quality of shallow groundwater in the coking plant and the area near it is poor-very poor. The quality of shallow groundwater in the outside area is comparatively well-well. The quality of deep groundwater in the survey area is well. It has evaluated the groundwater pollution status in the survey area in pollution index method. It gets the follow results. There are 5 pollutants which were cyanide, benzoquinone, COD, NH3, PAHs in shallow groundwater. The phenol and cyanide wastewater station seriously pollute the shallow groundwater especially the cyanide. There are PAHs in some deep groundwater, but the degree of PAHs is very low. It has established the conceptual model of hydrogeology and conceptual model of transport which was in accordance with the survey area through Visual Modflow. It has predicted and analyzed the pollution range of cyanide and COD. It gets the follow results. The pollution range of cyanide and COD in survey area groundwater would continuously go beyond the time. Fifty years later, the longest migration distance of cyanide would be 3279m. And the longest migration distance of COD would be 2489m. More villages in groundwater downstream of the survey area would be polluted.The thesis ensures the pollution sources and pollution way through the study. It provides a scientific basis for the coking plant to prevent and control groundwater pollution. It provides reference for using groundwater rationally, keeping the balance of water and soil and promoting efficient sustainable development. It lead people to concentrate on the water environment problem of coking plant. It achieves a goal which reduced the pollution of the water environment and protected groundwater resource by performing reasonable management and control on time.
