EPC(Expendable Pattern Casting) is a one-time molding casting new technology and casting method to produce castings.Expendable Pattern is made by foam(EPS, STMMA or EPMMA) polymer materials and which exactly has the same shape and size and structure with the casting parts to be produced.First, Expendable Pattern was Dip refractory coating before drying and buried in the dry quartz sand,second, modeled by three-dimensional vibration in casting molding box,third,pouring molten metal into the liquid under negative pressure so that the appearance of polymer materials heated and gasified and disappear,final,EP was replaced by the liquid metal then cooling and solidification.[1] The main production process through production process preparation, three axis nc machine tool for processing, after parts of adhesive, surface treatment, inspection process, finally complete the qualified products. This topic covers the foam products pieces of production equipment manufacturing, intelligent system is built, materials research and development, technology, process optimization, quality control, comprehensive broke the limitations of traditional wooden single casting, is the first successful revolution of new mould development.
