The two-dimensional graph is applied in the traditional casting mold manufacture, it is made by hand that has long production cycle and low precision. It is extremely difficult in manufactures regarding the complex three dimensional surface mold. Mold design and process of manufacture are used in cylinder head diffuser, gas off-take, top and lower water tank that has high size accuracy requirement and complex shape. Establishing the Pro/E three-dimensional model is used the working model self examination technology, and the Pro/E software high-level modeling technology is used in the core box mold design. On this basis, using Pro/E software CAM module to carry on five axis numerical control processing program and produce numerical control processing tool path document. According to the NC code format request of five axis numerical control machining center, the Pro/E software post-processing module has been developed correspondingly. Post-processing of the numerical control processing cutting tool path document is completed, and the machine instruction which five axis numerically-controlled machining center can distinguish is formed, namely NC code file. Using the file transfer software, NC code file in computer is spread to the five axis numerical control machining center by data transmission system. It is realized that the core box online numerical control processing and satisfies the design accuracy requirement.
