| Electroslag remelting(ESR) production of special steel is becoming more and more important in the status of national production, It is through the process of secondary refining of the metal products which are made by ordinary smelting, Compared to the previous electroslag ingot produced jumped a big step in the quality of product, It is widely used in various industries, such as petrochemical industry, aerospace, national defense construction, and so on many aspects. This paper is divided into two parts to carry out research and in-depth analysis. we firstly use FLUENT software to coupling numerical simulation conducted on solidification cooling process of electroslag casting ingot. The distribution and solidification of the ingot electroslag remelting process of temperature field is obtained by numerical simulation, Based on this study, By changing the ingot casting cooling conditions to observe its impact. The second half of this paper analyzes the deficiencies of the existing company of electroslag remelting cooling system. In order to optimize the original cooling system, this paper has improved the design of a kind of electro slag remelting cooling system. The system has two operating modes, automatic and manual operation, with high and low temperature alarm function. When the system is running in automatic mode, if the operating conditions are changed, the system still has strong control ability. Firstly study relevant theoretical knowledge of heat transfer, we should detail analyze the heat transfer mechanism of mold cooling water system, and establish the mathematical model of the cooling water system, then PID control method is introduced into the cooling water temperature control system, in order to realize the online control of the controlled object. Secondly, using the Simulink tool of MATLAB software in the system of simulation research, first in the system without adding to the PID control system, we simulate situation when change the heat and the valve port open abruptly, then joined the PID controller to validate the usability of the system. It can be concluded that the improved system does have a great improvement compared to the original system, regardless of the actual effect of cooling, and has good practical value in economic value and operation safety etc. |
