Vibrating screen is one of the key equipment in mineral processing technology, its performance can directly influence capacity and product quality. The design of vibrating screen’s integral structure is very important. Screen mesh and isolation spring as essential components of vibrating screen, their reasonable design parameters are the guarantee of vibrating screen’s superior performance. The integral design of vibrating screen can refer to current data and the latest national standard. The vibrating screen can be designed to laminated type which is used less in domestic market to improve its screening efficiency.There is little study on the failure analysis of screen mesh. As screen mesh is a very important component to vibrating screen, its service life and screening efficiency are the final test indexes. To ensure its service life can be as long as possible, the selection of materials and the design of geometry parameters shall be optimized. In this paper, we study the failure reason, the material and the geometry parameter of screen mesh. Contrast test data with theoretical data to conduct analysis and design, test the mechanical property, hardness, density and abrasive resistance of several materials to choose an appropriate one. Obtained the failure reason by setting up the force analysis figure of screen mesh, and also analyzed the relationship of the maximum deformation of screen bar with the geometry parameter of screen mesh and bar. The optimization of screen mesh’s material and parameter will has a positive effect on its service life and screening efficiency.Isolation spring directly affects the stability of vibrating screen which can be obviously improved through the vibration reduction of damping spring, but the machine frame still has some degree of vibration which will directly affect the stability of it and has some side effects on components. Under the circumstance of difficulty to lower the rigidity of vibration isolating rubber, the theory of dynamic vibration absorber shall be brought in. Theoretically, the amplitude of machine frame can be lowered to zero by using this theory. In this paper, mechanical model will be set up for the vibrating screen, and a vibration absorber will be designed according to the theory of dynamic vibration absorber. When optimize the design of spring, using MATLAB to set several boundary conditions to optimize the volume of rubber to achieve maximum optimization on both economy and space aspect. The key of the design of dynamic vibration absorber is the measurement of rigidity and the calculation of equivalent mass. If the rigidity of vibration absorber determined, only the mass of mass block needs to be adjusted, which is easily to be implemented in practical application.Through the failure analysis of screen mesh, optimizing the design parameter of screen mesh and the volume of vibration isolating rubber, setting up dynamic vibration absorber, which will has a positive effect on the performance improvement of the high frequency fine vibrating screen.
