With the constant improvement of the comprehensive mechanized mining level and the demands of coal exploration is becoming more and more refined.3 d seismic exploration technology with its unique large volume, high resolution, Control network degree of dense,become the detection of small fault,collapse column and so on geological body a very fruitful method Variance cube technology is to make full use of the 3d seismic data volume to reflect the underground situation, through the detection of seismic trace discontinuities, can detect the formation of abnormal situation. So in the identification of minor faults, collapse column and Strata discontinuous change, variance cube technology make it easier to be identified,exhibit a unique advantage.This study chose two different areas, the extraction variance body of small fault and collapse column, respectively explain research. First of all, according to the identification of small fault and collapse column special requirements for resolution, On the seismic data attribute space redefine, true amplitude recovery, deconvolution, random noise attenuation,formation of 3D seismic data with high resolution, to extract high quality variance of seismic data lay the foundation. Based on the analysis comparison to select the length of time window for 10 ms, adjacent to the seismic trace for 3 multiplication model variance of data extraction,get clear and reliable variance body section, and combining the time section respectively on two small fault and collapse column in interpretation. The results are as follows: Yangquan coal mine identified 20 collapse column, find out of collapse of reliable at 15, a reliable at 5;Provides a strong guidance of coal mine safety, high efficiency production.
