As semitransparent media are widely applied in many fields, such as aerospace, energy and power, chemical engineering and materials, researches about their radiation properties attract much attention. Although foreign scholars have carried out many researches in this field, considering that different forming methods and different production places can cause different radiation properties of semitransparent media, and different application backgrounds can also cause some difference in radiation properties of them, especially the more application in high-temperature conditions, obtaining radiation properties of homemade semitransparent materials has become a hot research direction. This paper takes semitransparent media as research objects. After stating the limitations of transmission method combined with K-K relations and double-thickness transmission method, combine them with different measurement objects including absorbing solid media, liquid media and absorbing- scattering solid media and obtain radiation properties of some typical semitransparent materials in different temperatures. This paper mainly includes the following three aspects:(1) Make the absorbing and scattering properties as the classification basis, and select the transmission measuring optics in spectroscopy as the prototype, which considering quadratic reflectors such as parabolic mirror and ellipsoidal mirror, to set up corresponding geometric model. Then adopted Monte Carlo Method to analyze the impacts on transmission measuring optics from optical aspects and radiation properties of media.(2) Establish inversion models of bulk solid with single-layer structure and liquid and high-temperature solid with multi-layer structure. For transmission method combined with K-K relations, consider the impacts of incident angle and windows. For double-thickness method, consider the multi-packaged properties of liquid sample, and analyze the influence of measurement error on inversion results.(3) Design and set up the experiment table to carry out researches on radiation properties of typical materials in different temperatures. Base on basic principles of transmission method, combine spectroscopy with different heatable sample cells to establish corresponding measurement system of radiation properties of semitransparent media. Through the measurement and inversion of radiation properties of distilled water, verify the reliability of inversion method. Then do experiments on typical semitransparent media, such as quartz glass, liquid hydrocarbon fuels and aerogel with these devices in different temperatures, and inverse their radiation properties.Researches in this paper mainly provide reference methods for inversion of radiation properties of semitransparent media, and supply radiation properties of some semitransparent media based on these methods for researchers to use.
