Conductive polymer composite materials with a conductive feature, it also have the advantages of light weight, easy processing, corrosion resistance, wide electrical resistivity adjustable range, low price and so on. There is a wide range of applications in energy, electrical, electronics, communications and aerospace and other fields. Development of high conductivity, environmental stability, good conductive polymer composite material is a hot topic in the area of composite materials. In this paper, low density polyethylene (LDPE), linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE), high density polyethylene (HDPE) and ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) as the base, carbon black (three kinds of conductive carbon black and a acetylene carbon black), metal (nickel powder, iron powder), and conductive metal oxides (vanadium oxide) as conductive filler, we make the conductive composite material by melt blending. Researched the conductive properties of composite materials with different types of polyolefin, carbon black and dosage, as well as adding metals and coupling agents. The result show that adding the metal and the conductive metal oxide can decrease the conductivity of the composite, reduce the mechanical properties in the case of the same dosage of carbon black and the composite volume resistivity is small (less than 2?·cm). Choose a suitable coupling agent as filler can improve the mechanical properties of composite materials, but the added coupling agent led to the resistivity of composite materials increases, resistivity increases with the extent of coupling agent on the type and dosage. We can get a high electrical conductivity and good mechanical properties of conductive composites through appropriate proportion of LLDPE and EVA blends as the base and high conductive carbon black as filler, in addition, the coupling agent treatment.
