With the rapid development of automobile industry and the growing awareness of people’s safety, the automotive industry has begun a research about energy absorption device of car crash. CST (Cutting the Screw Thread System) is a brand-new intellectualized energy absorption system about car crash, and it has excellent energy absorption effect. Vehicle safety, comfort, and hundred kilometers oil consumptions are major competition directions among vehicle manufacturers, but there are mutually contradictory. Firstly, increasing length of energy absorption can improve the safety performance, but causes comfort property worse, and hundred kilometers oil consumptions increase. If we can extend the absorption area to the outside of the car, in other words, the device keeps in the car at the normal state and extends to outside in dangerous situation. Adopting this conception, not only may reduce the length of energy absorption, enhance riding comfortableness, but also lower hundred kilometers oil consumptions, and on the other hand, the collision process occurs outside, which would not deform the body structure, and that guarantees the security of the automobile and the passengers.The article applies the magnetic resistance type electromagnetic propulsion technology in the automobile collision security research area, and as the fast propulsion device of the thread cutting type endoergic system, has carried out the following researches.First, introduces and discusses the thread cutting type endoergic system and the fast propulsion device, then based on the electromagnetic propulsion theory, has designed two kinds of fast advancement plans. Through contrasting the merits and demerits of the plans, has determined the final plan, and completed its feasibility analysis.The text carries out the simulation design of the device by the Maxwell software of Ansoft Corporation, and through the analysis to the software and the modeling methods, establishes the finite element model of the fast propulsion device, finally, and confirms the accuracy.Finally, the article optimalizes the structure design of the fast propulsion device, and through the analysis the influence of power source, the coil, the solenoid sleeve, the structure of the thread pole parameters and the adscititious yoke to the propulsion device performance, obtains the improvement program, and then, by the further simulations, obtains the satisfied current of the power which meets the request. The results indicates that, the improved design of the fast propulsion device could stretch out the thread cutting type endoergic system instantaneously at the collision, which displays its superior performance of collision endoergic process, and safeguards the security of the automobile and crew members.
