At present, the CRTS II (the abbreviation for China Railway Track System II) ballastless track slab system, in which the measurement technology of Track Reference Network (TRN for short) plays a very indispensable role, has been widely applied in the high-speed railway construction in our country. As a three-dimensional network demanding very high precision, the TRN, whose upper-class control network is CPIII (Control Point III, also Track Control Network), mainly serves as a datum for the slab fine adjustment in space.Gradually introduced in China with the construction of Beijing-Tianjin inter-city railway, The TRN measurement is a new measurement technology, with its data acquisition and processing having many differences from the traditional surveying in our country.For example, in the measurement of a plane network, no tolerances of multiple measured coordinates is needed, which will be checked only in the coming data processing, but data quality should be checked all along in China. To adapt the TRN data acquisition and processing to the Chinese situation and also make the surveyors of our country understand the TRN completely, the thesis analyzes it systematically, and finally summarizes measurement methods and tolerance criteria, all of which are accustomed to our country. The thesis mainly includes the following sections:Firstly, the TRN will be illustrated completely, including the plane measurement, the data processing of points in each station and joint points between adjacent stations, the elevation measurement and the data processing of points in a elevation line and joint points between adjacent lines.Secondly, based on the observed data from a passenger-dedicated line, some vital indicators have been analyzed and discussed emphatically so as to put forward measurement demands that adapt to Chinese surveying. The indicators are the measured coordinate values and their differences from their average values, the residual errors after CPIII adjustment computation, joint tolerances of plane coordinate values between adjacent stations, misclosure tolerances of annexed lines in elevation network, height values up and down and their difference from their average values as well as height joint tolerances between adjacent annexed lines and so on.Thirdly, according to the features of the TRN measurement, a method to evaluate the precision of plane network and level network will be proposed, which makes up the shortage of the German method and makes it more scientific and more reasonable from the method of the TRN data acquisition and processing to its accuracy controlling and evaluation system. With this method, precision evaluation for the TRN measured data in a passenger-dedicated line has been implemented, and the result has been analyzed, too.At last, on the basis of summarizing the disadvantages of the TRN plane network measurement, we have advanced a new method named "Double Line Method" to take the plane network measurement. Analysis to the measured data from the TRN testing field in our university has verified the feasibility of this new method. Besides, the thesis also makes a brief analysis to the TRN’s applications in the fine adjustment of slab and track.
