Scaffolding system of frame scaffoldings with steel tubes is applied as a fixedoperation platform which is designed based on the requirements of civil construction siteworks. The common scaffoldings which are used for construction support include framescaffoldings with steel tubes, bowl-shape-fastener scaffolding and fastener-style pipesteel scaffolding.This dissertation focuses on stability bearing capacity of scaffolding system offrame scaffoldings with steel tubes. The main works are listed as follow:(1) The finite element models of scaffolding system of frame scaffoldings with steeltubes were built up by using the ANSYS program.(2) The instability mode of scaffolding system of frame scaffoldings with steel tubeswas analyzed and influencing factors of the instability mode were analyzed.(3) The lateral rigidity and stability bearing capacity of scaffolding system of framescaffoldings with steel tubes were analyzed; the effect of diagonal bracing on lateralrigidity and stability bearing capacity of scaffolding system of frame scaffoldings withsteel tubes was analyzed.(4) The influence of height to width aspect radio, span number and diagonal bracingon stability bearing capacity of scaffolding system of frame scaffoldings with steel tubeswas analyzed.Based on the calculation and analysis, the lateral diagonal bracing and number ofthe columns have little influence on the instability mode of scaffolding system of framescaffoldings with steel tubes. But the assign of diagonal bracing out of plane ofscaffolding system of frame scaffoldings with steel tubes has much influence oninstability mode. The lateral rigidity of frame scaffoldings with steel tubes which havesame height to width aspect radio becomes smaller as scale of scaffolding systembecomes bigger. stability bearing capacity has point of transition and gets smaller as thelateral force begins bigger of the same height to width aspect radio scaffolding system.The diagonal bracing have a deep influence on lateral rigidity and stability bearingcapacity, as the scale becomes bigger, the influence of diagonal bracing to lateral rigidityand stability bearing capacity of scaffolding system becomes deeper. Lateral rigidity andstability bearing capacity of scaffolding system becomes smaller as the height to widthaspect radio becomes bigger.
