Central heating is one of the most important infrastructures of modern cities andhas many comprehensive benefits such as great energy-friendliness, high environmentalgoodness, superior heating quality and perfect cooperation with electricity supplying.Choosing central heating system reliably and reasonably is of great significance for citydevelopment. This paper takes a zone in Xi Xian New Area as research object. Firstly, based onthe field survey of natural conditions, the heating source status and the thermal load, planned no matter in recently or in the future, are calculated, respectively. Secondly, three heating-source choices including cogeneration power plant, coal-fired boiler roomand gas-boiler room are planned. On the basis of magnitude and distribution of thermalload as well as that of heating source, the scale and location of the heat exchangerstations are chosen. Thirdly, the layout of pipe network, hydraulic calculation, hydraulicequilibrium and pressure diagram of the three plans are gotten based on data mentionedabove and design handbook. Fourthly, capital costs, operation costs,energy-consumption and emission amount of are calculated and compared throughexperienced data and mathematic methods and then the goodness of all-mentionedvariables of different plans can be acquired. Lastly, AHP(analysis hierarchy process) ischosen for the comprehensive comparison and system selection. The goal hierarchy iscomposed of environmental and economics goodness. Their relative weightiness are obtained by binary contrast reciprocal method. By calculation and analysis, for certainweightiness, coal-boiler has the beat comprehensive goodness and thus is the beatheating supplying plan. This paper uses the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)to compare three commoncentral heating plans and obtains the relative goodness of different variables of differentheating systems. As a result, this paper enables a solid foundation for the comparisonand selection of different heating plans afterwards.
