| Permanent magnet synchronous motor made by high-energy rare earth permanent magnet materials. Because its central rotor is no field winding, compared with other drive motor, PMSM has a simple structure, high efficiency, power density and good control characteristics, etc. Therefore permanent magnet synchronous motor as the ideal high-performance motion control unit is widely used in industry and agriculture.In this paper, the surface mount of permanent magnet synchronous motor has been studied. The mathematical model of permanent magnet synchronous motor is analyzed. The conversion relationship of PMSM among three kinds of coordinate system has been deduced, and the mathematical model of PMSM system has been gotten in the two-phase rotating coordinate system.Secondly, a space vector pulse width modulation module which is used to generate PWM wave has been established for dragging the central rotor by a circular rotating magnetic field in the driving motor. A speed and current dual-closed-loop control system of PMSM has been established by using direct axis current zero. Combined with conventional PID control strategy, simulation study has been conducted. The space vector control algorithm and current control strategy of PMSM system have been verified by the simulation study.Robust control based on genetic algorithm is proposed for the PMSM system to improve model uncertainties, speed tracking performance and load disturbances. According to design requirements of system robustness, robust standard mixed sensitivity control model has been applied. For the contradictions that existed in selection of weighting functions, the problem has been transformed into a multi-objective problem. Through writing a fitness function and designing program, the problem has been solved by using of genetic algorithms to optimize the weighting function so that the controller is designed to make optimal effect. In this paper, combined the advantages of genetic algorithms and robust mixed sensitivity control method, the optimized controller has been designed,, and a simulation study has been conducted.
