Nowadays, marine diesel engine is the main power of the ship. The crankshaft isthe core part of the diesel engine, accounting for1/3. It can be said that the crankshaft isthe heart" of the ship. Our country is the ship-building country,the demand for marinecrankshaft is large. Now our country can produce the cranksha ft that under8-cylinder tobe used by the small ships. The research of the marine crankshaft that more than10-cylinder is still blank. In recent years, under the impact of the economic crisis, theworld ship-building industry has been affected, the demand for small marine crankshaftbecomes less and less. In order to broaden the market, to save the Chinese ship-buildingindustry, at the same time, in order to China can rank among the world’s ship-buildingpowers, realizing the dream of China ship-building powers, Shanghai MarineCrankshaft Co., combined with other related units began to study the marine crankshaftthat more than10-cylinder. According to the imported model of the large marinecrankshaft, our country is ready to adopt the way splicing to produce large marinecrankshaft. In order to provide the working environment of splicing,a working platformneed to be developed.The working platform is composed by two parts: one part is the inspectionplatform, another is adjustable bracket. Test platform is to provide a datum plane for theadjustable bracket, which accuracy requirement is less than0.01mm. Adjustablebracket is the core of the study of the whole work platform. Adjustable bracket not onlycan bear the weight of the crankshaft, but also has the function of adjustment tocompensate for the error of crankshaft neck caused by beating, to ensure that all of thecrankshaft main journal centerline stitching collinear. Firstly, under the condition of noload, the crankshaft was carried out finite element analysis to understand itsdeformation and stress distribution. Then this article briefly introduces the workingplatform and analysis the design requirements.The key point of the research is divided into two parts: one is a box body design of adjustable bracket, box body design, including the research methods of materialselection and design of box body structure were studied by theoretical analysis, then, westructure the box model that is theoretical analysis by using UG8.0software, finiteelement analysis and further analysis of the structure of finite element analysis, theresults of finite element analysis and the results of our conjecture is consistent; Anotherpart is the research and analysis of trimming device that is on the inside of t headjustable bracket, the core parts of the trimming device are the worm and worm gearand screw driving system, the research of selection methods of the core parts isanalyzed in theory, and10-cylinder marine crankshaft is an example to calculate theparts selection of screw drive in theory. The screw drive parts that were theory selectionwere checked, the results meet the standards of domestic design stage. Finally, theadjustable device information feedback device was introduced in brief. The articleprovides theoretical support for the study of the splicing type marine crankshaftadjustable bracket and lays the foundation for the study of the adjustable bracket. Alongwith the continuous in-depth research, the design of the adjustable bracket technolo gywill become more and more mature.
