So far, the reinforcement and reconstruction technology of reinforced concretestructure has a history of three or four decades and has formed a set of professionalreinforcement methods. Using underpinning technology of the building structurereinforcement, only needs to tear down part of column and bearing wall. There is lessinfluence on other component during the reinforcement period and less effect on thenormal use, producting and living of the buildings. In engineering practice, thecommon reinforcement methods include enlarging section method, sticking structralsteel method, sticking steel plate reinforcement methods, pasting the fiber reinforcedcomposite materials, prestressing reinforcement method and other methods. Thispaper focuses on the above several methods of the application in “supporting beamand changing column” structure transformation technology, and try to creat new formof reinforcement.This paper research on the “supporting beam and changing column” structurereconstruction project combining with a five-story frame structure, putting forwardthe part underpinning reinforcement design method and thought. First of all, a briefoverview of the project background, reinforcement and reconstruction scope andcontent, related theory analysis basis, general conditions, reinforcement andreconstruction principle. Building model with PKPM series software, calculating thewhole internal force of engineering structure before the transformation and aftersimulated reconstruction, analyzing force condition and bearing capacity standard ofthe underpinning component, determining the impact on surrounding components,impact extent and whether the influence can be ignored.Secondly, the traditional reinforcement scheme and new-designed reinforcementscheme section bearing capacity calculation method is introduced. Optimal scheme ofthe components needed to reinforce by the transformation is designed and theintensity is checked.Thirdly, analyzing the local stress of various reinforcement schemes by usingABAQUS finite element analysis software, calculating the deformation of the reinforcement component and giving out comparative analysis. Comparing varioussolutions of technical feasibility, economical index and various constructionfeasibility. Summarizing the characteristics of various underpinning reinforcementreformation methods and suitable scope.Finally, choosing the suitable transformation method for local underpinning ofthis project—Paste the steel plate reinforced method. Discussing the effect of the keyfactors such as stiffness of the adhesive glue, the thickness of the adhesive glue, thethickness of the steel plate in finite element analysis. The thickness of the adhesiveglue has a great influence on the strengthening effect of steel plate reinforced method.This paper suggested that the thickness of the adhesive glue for2~3mm, thethickness of the steel plate for3~6mm. And in the reinforcement design, accordingto the maximum shear stress to calculate the thickness of the steel plate.
