Based on the relative study of seismic damage analysis of frame structure, detailedlyoverview of the reasons for damage of the frame structure are obtained.The papercomparative analysis the evolution of reinforced concrete frame structure design codedecades after the founding of new China.And standing in the perspective of the worldcompared the research status of seismic strengthening of RC frame structure beam-columnjoints at home and abroad.The paper also analyzed the seismic performance of reinforced concrete frame structurejoints,and summaried the factors that Influence the strengthen of reinforced concrete framestructure joints.At the same time,the method of structural seismic strengthening and thestrengthening mechanism of three kinds of strengthening methods.was introduced.According to the different periods of design specifications of reinforced concrete framestructure,the paper set up three RC frame structure model of different periods,then the modelswas analysised by the static elastoplastic Pushover of the program of SAP2000.On the baseof the analysis results such as the performance point,the plastic hinge and the interlayerdisplacement angle which were obtained by the program,the paper analysised the seismicperformance of three frame structure models and gived the defects of the different periodsdesign specification.At last,the paper strengthened the defective structure of1955version with three methodsand compared the strengthened results of the Pushover analysis.Based on the comparativeanalysis of the Pushover,the paper gived the strengthen advice of the similar defectivestructure.
