Research On Cost Control Of Construction Project In Universities And Colleges

Education is the foundation of our country, the soul of a nation, power base. In1999, the expansion policy of the higher education is formulated and carried on inChina, leading to the great leap of the higher education system. With the increasingscale of college students in colleges and universities, serious shortage of teachingfacilities are apparent. Therefore, all colleges and universities has already begun alarge-scale campus expansion work, the new campus of the overall project investmentis huge. According to the case study, there are many problems in construction projectmanagement, especially the problem of cost control of construction projects inuniversities and colleges. In the process of construction of most of the constructionprojects in the design stage positioning is with high standard construction inconstruction time, construction phase locking, coupled with the various kinds ofconstruction projects, there exists considerable complexity, but in the entireproject,implementation process of professional technical force is weak, so there aremany problems in the construction and management of project, especially the declineof the quality and cost of the project. Therefore, the project construction costdetermination and control analysis and research is particularly important.This thesis first reviews the foreign engineering cost management theory andmanagement mode as well as the domestic engineering cost management process ofhistorical development and management of the status quo, analysis of the currentsituation of domestic college of engineering cost of construction project and theexisting problems, and focuses on the cost management and control of whole processbased on the management theory paradigm. Using the estimation method, quotadesign, engineering quantity list valuation model,"three stage audit" system controltechnology, this thesis probes into the measures and methods of the whole processcost management, proposes the establishment of the system of whole process costmanagement point of view, and also discusses the measures to establish the wholeprocess cost management mechanism and the whole process of cost management.Nanchang University public rental housing project is a case in point. From theproject decision-making stage, design stage, construction bidding stage, construction stage to the completion settlement audit stage cost, the entire process constructioncost management patterns are analyzed completely, and the methods of cost controlof each stage are also established in the thesis.
