The reliable operation of the automatic throttle control system have a significant impact on flightsafety, so dual redundant technology to enhance system reliability and application of fault detectionalgorithm to detect and isolate the automatic throttle control system failure is necessary. Dual redundantautomatic throttle control system was studied in this paper.Based on the analysis of function, performance and principle of the autothrottle, the autothrottlesystem of dual redundant design solution is proposed. It uses the hot backup parallel type doubleredundancy technology combined with improved PTP synchronization protocol clock synchronizationtechnology, serial bus sharing technology, fault diagnosis technology based on the analytical modeland redundancy switching technology to design automatic throttle control system.The automatic throttle controller uses TMS320F2812DSP as the core, proposed the detailedhardware design scheme, and designed its hardware module including fault detection module, mainbackup switch module synchronization module and communication module. In the CSS developmentenvironment, it uses modular design concept to design a autothrottle servo system control components.Thus it has achieved functions of throttle directive settlement adjustable institutional control, motorcontrol, limit institutional control, throttle lever, throttle position acquisition, fault detection and so on.The hardware, software and interface of the automatic throttle control system are designed. Wealso debug the double redundancy automatic throttle control system and test and verify the keytechnique such as fault detection technology, redundant switching technology, synchronizationtechnology and so on. The result shows that the automatic throttle system has a good performance ofredundancy structure and that it improves the reliability to meet the system requirements.
