A Planning Research Of The Landscape In The New Countryside Based On CAS Theory

Rural China structure has experienced radical changes since the construction of new socialismcountryside twenty years ago. It has become an issue that rural landscape planners need to considerwhen it comes to how to implement sustainable development in vast rural areas, maintain ecologicalbalance and inherit elements of rural landscape. A series of problems with respect to “countrysideurbanization” have emerged in the process of drastic landscape planning in light of the specialbackground of its construction. This paper starts from discovering the problems to analyzing theproblems, then it reveals the root cause of the problems---for lack of the theoretical support used indirecting planning of constructing the new countryside. Consequently the CAS Theory, the latesttheoretical achievements has been put forward. In the flowing part, the author demonstrates theapplicability and rationality of the CAS Theory when it applied to planning the new rural landscapeby analyzing Changle, summarizes the designing principles of CAS theoretical directions and spatialplanning patterns macroscopically, which provides a innovative guidance to landscape planning ofnew countryside with practical significance.
